OEE values calculated for the whole company

We take the sum of all stations and sum it up. The values are seen in each table above.

Why is the total OEE lower than the individual OEE values?

This comes from incorrect speed settings for products - one or more product has the actual production speed that exceeds the set ideal speed and causes performance value to go over 100%.

How to detect this?

  • Shift View:
    • OEE and speed widgets.
    • Hourly produced quantity vs target (based on the ideal speed).
  • Reports:
    • Quantity report (ideal qty vs total qty), OEE report (performance value).
  • Factory Overview:
    • Performance indicator from the filter options.
  • Dashboard:
    • Different widgets allow tracking quantities (against a target) and also performance.

According to OEE theory, this can not happen. This means that the product speed settings for any station (called "routes" in Evocon) need to be checked and corrected. If performance is up to 100% and not over, then the total OEE would also fall somewhere between the individual values.

Where can I adjust the speed settings?

  • Under product details in Settings, more information here.

A simplified example of how such total OEE value can occur and is calculated

  • Let's say these are OEE report results for 3 stations over 6 months:

Screenshot: Let's say these are OEE report results for 3 stations over 6 months:
  • We can see that the total OEE is lower than any of the individual OEE value for this period.

  • If we calculate each station separately, we get the results as above:

    • Station 1
      • Availability 25,37%
      • Performance 279,71%
      • Quality 95,50%
      • OEE = Availability × Performance × Quality = 67,77%
    • Station 2
      • Availability 20,67%
      • Performance 297,82%
      • Quality 96,63%
